The RLS AksIM-2 absolute encoder is an extension module to the MD series controllers. It is used for precise position determination on geared motors (post-startup), direct output shaft control, or reporting position and velocity values. It's a trough hole, off-axis absolute encoder. The RLS AksIM-2 absolute output encoder offers a presice, compact solution that is easy to integrate into any mobile robotics application.
